We are serviced by excellent transport on our doorstep. The nearest bus stop is directly across the road and the Luas tram (Beechwood stop) is within a 10 minute walk and will take you to either St Stephen Green or Dundrum Town Centre – a shopaholics dream!

    From College Street or Nassau Street (Beside Trinity College)
    15, 15A, 15B & 15C bus can be taken to Rathmines Garda Station

    D’Olier Street
    14 bus can be taken from D’Olier Street, Nassau Street & Kildare Street to Rathmines Garda Station.
    83 bus can be taken from D’Olier Street, Dame Street & George Street to Rathmines Garda Station.

    Other bus routes
    65 from George Street, 65B from George Street, 140 from O’Connell Street & Kildare Street, 142 from Connolly Rail Station & Eden Quay.

  • By Car

    Take the Tallaght Exit from the M50
    Keep left as you come off the bypass heading towards Tempelogue / Terenure
    Continue straight down Tempelogue Road
    Continue straight through onto Terenure Cross Road
    When you get to Rathgar Village, go through the cross road’s (traffic lights) and veer right onto Highfield road.
    At the T junction traffic lights (Ardagh Guest House), turn left onto Upper Rathmines Road
    Continue up Rathmines Road until you reach Mother Reilly’s Bar & Uppercross Hotel on your right.

    Come out of the hotel and turn right
    Continue up Rathmines Road towards the canal
    Turn right onto Canal Road
    Continue onto Dartmouth Walk
    Continue onto Mespil Road
    Continue onto Haddington Road
    Turn right onto Shelbourne Road
    Turn left onto Bath Avenue
    Turn right onto Havelock Square
    Turn left onto Havelock Terrace
    Turn right onto O’Connell Gardens
    Arrive at Aviva Stadium, 62 Lansdowne Road, Dublin 4

  • To Croke Park

    Come out of the hotel and turn right
    Continue up Rathmines Road towards the canal
    At the Bank of Ireland bus stop, take the 14a or the 83 bus to O’Connell Street
    Head north on O’Connell Street Upper/N1 toward Cathal Brugha St
    Turn left onto Parnell Street/N1
    Turn right to stay on Parnell Street/N1 (signs for N2/N3) About 1 min
    Turn right onto Upper Dorset Street/N1 About 2 mins
    Turn right onto N Circular Rd (signs for N11) About 1 min
    Turn left onto Russell St
    Continue onto Jones’s Rd
    Arrive at Croke Park Stadium

  • To the RDS Ballsbridge

    Come out of the hotel and turn right
    Turn right onto Castlewood Avenue
    Continue onto Charleston Rd.
    Turn right at Ranelagh onto the Sandfords Rd.
    Turn left onto Eglinton Rd.
    Continue onto Donnybrook
    Cross over onto Anglesea Rd
    Continue up Anglesea Rd. until you arrive at the RDS.

Parking

The Uppercross Hotel provides complimentary off street parking for hotel guests during their stay. Please note, however, that parking is limited and cannot be reserved. Additional off street pay and display parking can be found on the surround streets as well as The Swan Shopping Centre car park which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
